Oscars TONIGHT…Be Sure To Tune In + Nominees

[HollywoodLife] Gold statues, gaudy acceptance speeches, Ellen DeGeneres — after months of anticipation, we’re only hours away from the 2014 Academy Awards. All the events leading up to tonight have been exciting, but this one matters the most, because the biggest night in Hollywood brings out the biggest names in Hollywood. So make sure you’re up to snuff on Oscar night with a live stream from the red carpet in Los Angeles, starting below at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PST.

As we said, pretty much every big name in the movie industry will be showing their face at the Oscars, and all of the ladies will be in a heated battle for the night’s Best Dressed. 12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong’o has more or less killed it on every carpet she’s hit this awards season, so she’s the frontrunner, if you ask us.

But with stars like Jennifer LawrenceAmy Adams, and Angelina Jolie in attendance, the competition is actually wide open and there’s no telling who will take the cake.

Besides the unparalleled glam of the Oscars red carpet, the pre-show also promises to feature a slew of memorable moments to add to the pile from this awards season.

We already got to see JLaw unflatteringly video-bomb Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes, and Jared Leto flirt with Emilia Clarke at the SAG Awards, so we’re sure there’s A LOT more where that came from.
